How to connect to the correct database

If, after an update, you need to reconnect to the correct database:

  • Right-click on the BTCSoftware Solution icon on your desktop
  • Select Run as administrator
  • When prompted with the message “Do you want to allow the following app to make changes to this computer?” select Yes
  • Cancel out of the login window
  • Go to Administration > Tools > Edit Database location
  • Click Browse to find the database location
  • Choose the database (usually named Practice Manager.accdb
  • Click OK
  • The program will close. Reopen as normal from the desktop.

 

To check the database, go to Help > About
